Say ten years ago you liked fiction
And now, ten years later,
You only read memoirs

Say ten years ago you were angry
An now, ten years later,
You can’t remember why

Say ten years ago your hair was brown
And now, ten years later
Your hair is blonde

Say ten years from now you live
In a big city with loud noises
But now, ten years before,
You live at home and are uncertain

Say ten years ago you
Would never do that
And now, ten years later,
It is all you ever do

Ten years full of growth
Ten years full of lessons
Ten years full of discovering
You and what makes you whole

Say ten years ago you felt alone
And now, ten years later,
You have comfort
In solitude

The flowing lava,
destroys,
burns,
hurts,
kills,
overwhelms,
turns my blood to molten magma,
and yet makes feel so alive.

She says I’m just a distraction (referring to herself)
This is simply not true
If I ever had you in my life I’d make **** sure to never lose you!
I’d do anything in my power to make all of your dreams come true!

It makes me happy to think of breathing your air
And it kills me that someone else gets to, just seems unfair!
We argue because passion is soooo strong
When we are not seeing eye to eye, we both say we don’t care..
We distance ourselves when it becomes too much to bare!

I dream of feeling your embrace after a long day
I’d truly sit and listen to every word you had to say!
I just want to hear about your day!
We have gone years without as much as a greeting
But when we do meet, my heart can’t stop beating
Out of my chest... so many thoughts..
Now I’m a MESS
What are you thinking? No clue...

Doesn’t really matter how it started
I’m sure we’re both stronger for it now,
at this Point!
You say it’s hard to build something that starts out like that
0 to 60 in 2 seconds flat!
You say you fee like you just walked out of the twilight zone
What does that even mean? Is your mind blown?! 🤯

I’ve never loved anyone how I loved you!
You already used to help when I was feeling blue
Just talking to you instantly puts me in a better mood
And when I can’t I feel like I’m about to come unglued

How many times do we try to walk away?!

Clouds cry when they can't bear the rain;
People cry when they can't bear the pain,
For pain is a heart-ache;
An emotional heartbreak.
It's so hard to hold on;
After all your hopes are gone,
Even with so much of stain;
Still can't eliminate this pain.
Crying a lot day to day;
Wandering lost by the way;
Stopping a minute to say;
"This too will recede away".
Overcoming all sorts of sorrow;
Is the best way to face tomorrow,
Surely all sort of pain;
Is also a way to gain.

We don't hear what we feel
We don't do what we need
We don't live yet in passion
We miss all our fun
Trying to gain attention
We pretend as we are the one
Forgotten that we are failing
Running around too much success
What are we, need not be proven
We are unique, uniquely designed
Let spread hope, every where in solace

As I write this poem,
I feel pain at all.
As I type the sorrows of odds,
Internal locust is on call.

As I close my eyes
Dark past haunts me the most
As the time goes by
My heart trembles, not fall.

Tomorrow might be another day
But I will choose to stay away.
