I craved the sunlight on my skin
But the day had come to
An unsavory end
The night didn’t need
An introduction
I was all too familiar
With the loneliness
Disguised in darkness
I need light in my life
To survive
I recently was sick for a week and a half. I was extremely lonely and this is a product of that.
