If you don't know, I can't tell you who you are.
I can't tell what you'll be
But I can tell you what I see.
When I look in your eyes,
I can see pain you've been trying to disguise.
I see you hoping you can find hope.
And when I look at your face,
I see someone who can never be replaced.
I can see you feel 100 years older
Because you've been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Watching your chest move when you put your hand on your heart, that's proof you're human.
And if you want to find out who you are,
that's a good place to start.
In the end, it doesn't matter what I see.
All that matters is you find a way to love who you are
and look forward to who you'll be.

There is a weight on your soul
Only just held up by your tired bones

Your sagging shoulders falling with pain
Whilst your eyes are lost in a world away

Struggling to hold the world with your feet
There is no rest for those who can't let it be

I pluck a book
From the many shelves
And deep into this book
I continually delve

The book is so horribly familiar
Its cover worn and old
I’ve read it many times
You’d think it’d be gold

But no
This book is terror
It draws me in
Makes me its bearer

This terribly beautiful book
The book that is my life
Full of love
Beauty and strife
The weight of the world on my shoulders
Almost too much to bear
Knees starting to buckle
Sometimes life isn't fair

I won't give in
I'll fight the fight
Every day
and every night

It's me alone
against them all
That's the reason
I must not fall

On me alone
Your life does depend
I will care for you
Till the very end

Things have gotten in the way
many people have tried
These things I have overcome
I will not be denied

Providing for you
at this I can not fail
Sheer determination
That's how I will prevail

I'll never let you down
giving nothing but my best
Always putting you first
so lay your fears to rest

RED
I quake beneath the unforgiving weight of your stare
Your eyes soft like cracked pavement..
barefoot under the hot sun I walk grasping hold of the invitation
And your hand
I feel my fears expanded in your palms
But still I follow
Red.. my wrists suspended above my head tied tight with ribon and excite
The silence of your gaze requesting my heart to race
Naked I lay now blind to your touch
Your lips press against mine
Poisoned ivy
As they travel down my soulful corpse
The tips of your fingers are ice cold arousing every inch of my interest
Your breath is the only sound that exists as I follow it down an unfamiliar path
Perplexed by the freedom I feel with broken arms and sight less eyes
I gain deliverance bound by your control
Reality pauses as you turn me over
My face against your pillow
The sweet smell of sleepless nights takes shelter in me
A foreign fabric familiar to hair finds its way down my twisted spine
Slowly yet all at once chills course about my body
Brisk is the gust of broken air as it arrives
My skin is met
Whipped by desire
I scream and let out a sigh of peaceful pain
Freeing me from guilt regret n sorrow
Each lash peeling the weight of the world from my shoulders
