Rarebit fiend

with an insatiable appetite

zapped internally

******* off wi-fi

looking for hideouts

and new gold wings

the brilliant glow

through a transom window

summons him

feeds on the sleeping man

programming him

into a pathogen

...thoughts and feelings are soulless soldiers
bleeding my blackness like ink
leading the cracks to the brim
And do they dip deep, indeed...
they come out the other side thinning
and thinning still
and thinning
and seething my fabric
as my quietness parallels the tempo of serration
the wanting of you:
to flow and embrace
my every erasure
with the renewal
the slow violent blossoming
flowing and growing
into our fragrance
Our one world

Thump. Thump. Thump.
Eyes deeper than the trenches,
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Lips so simply soft and sweet.

Fingers ache until they next will touch,
A warm, strong, and safe embrace.
Eye to eye, hip to hip, nearly too much
It is a magical adventure, not a race.

Thump. Thump. Thump.
Faster and faster, butterflies whirling
Thump.Thump.Thump.Thump.
Heart and mind twirling, swirling.

Hearts and bodies rise in escalation,
Tingles overwhelm, thoughts a-blur.
Minds and mouths sigh in revelation,
This wondrous blend of him and her.

Today's name chosen for you, my love, is Saulė. Do you like its sound? She is Goddess of Sun, from where my people come. Where she is protector of orphans, where she casts warmth, where an enormous smith made and threw her. Call me Mėnuo if you will, as I am just a moon, circling the orphaned Earth. Our marriage is destined, and my light is yours, a reflection of your solar pulses. These legends have it, many a mix up between us. Stories do go that way. There is a shadow on me. It grows. Eventually, splits me in half. Then, you watch as I disappear. Yet, I  return and grow again in your light, giving guidance to orphans traveling by night. This is the Zodiac's grand command and as we spin about, time, other orbs and Universalist theory melds. A marriage of millennium is at hand and our master smith, with his hard hammer,  keeps the sparks flying. New stars and galaxies emerge, and shouldn't they? Seems the story just keeps getting better.
Seems room enough, in this huge cosmos, for all sort of possibility.

There in the closeness
A hairs breadth away seems a million light-years
The sweetest air fills lungs in hurried breaths
A quickened heartbeat drowns out the world
The mind twists and sways in thoughts that soon become a blur
Melded into emotion, into heat
And time stands still

Drawn like magnets to fill the gap
That electric blue spark lingers behind a gaze
Current runs high
Feeling the blood rushing through the smallest veins
Every cell electrified, every hair on end
The weakening of unwanted defenses
That moment the body and soul acquiesce
And time stands still

In the stroke of a cheek
The almost intangible sensation of gliding on smoke
Rising as the embers burn from within
And each breath fans the flames
Proximity feeds passion
As time stands still

The past, erased methodically, deliberately
For there is only this
This birthing of eternity
This moment when the tentative brushing of lips
Burns into soulful coalescence
This one reality
This moment
When time stands still

And if you haven't found a kiss like that, you're kissing the wrong one

***Okay my lovelies, I have gone through three different titles for this poem.  I don't think any of them quite fit.  I'm open to suggestions.  So far I have gone through
-in the warmth of a kiss
-as time stands still
-the birth of eternity
-if a kiss is just a kiss, you're doing it wrong

Please feel free to list any suggestions in the comments or in a message
