If Success was Happiness
Then achievers would be glad
But look around and you will find
That many of them are sad

Of course, Achievement gives joy
And excitement, oh boy!
But when our need becomes our greed
To misery, this will lead

The whole world is chasing Success
Everyone wants achievement
Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose
There is no Contentment

Why do people want to succeed?
Why is everyone in a race?
The Truth is that we want to win
So that there is a smile on our face

But though we win, we are not glad
We have money, why are we sad?
Happiness is not money, the sages said
It's sleeping soundly when you are in bed

We hear of suicides in the homes of the rich
If they were Happy, then why this glitch?
Although they are achievers, this fact we know
They are not Happy, their face has no glow

If successful, but unhappy, what is the use?
Winning or smiling, what would you choose?
The purpose of Success is for us to be glad
What is the use of winning, if it makes us sad?

Happiness is something different, we learn
Not just money that we earn and burn
Happiness is built on a foundation of peace
Then we are blissful like waves in the seas

Look around at the people who are glad
They live in the moment, they are never sad
They don't swing from the future to the past
They are the ones whose Happiness lasts

Happiness has no price tag, know this my friend
It's a state of mind where nothing can offend
It's being able to smile, and able to laugh
Not just trying to raise our Success graph

We can't measure joy in dollar and pound
Happy is he who peace has found
Though we may fly the world around
We may be miserable on the ground

Success is not Happiness, this Truth we must know
We may have everything, what's the use of this show?
The truly successful one is he
Who lives with smile, laughter, and glee

If one is Happy, then one has achieved all
One doesn't have to be rich and in fame be tall
One can have little, but if content is he
Then he can live joyously

Achievement gives Happiness, this fact we know
But with Fulfilment and Contentment, does Happiness grow
One who is Happy, doesn't need to win
He has Peace and Joy without committing sin

Joy doesn't need a foundation of cash
One doesn't have to be rich, to enjoy life's bash
Happiness is a simple state of the mind
It comes from being loving, it comes from being Kind

Happiness is Success. It is achieving life's goal
It is being Happy in the heart, Peaceful in the Soul
True Happiness is eternal, not just a moment of joy
It last's forever, it can’t be destroyed

Success is a journey of valleys and peaks
Life is a see-saw, there are laughs and squeaks
Success, unlike Happiness, doesn't last for long
But the truly Happy ones always sing a Happy song

So, Success is not Happiness, Happiness is Success
You may be an achiever, whose heart is not at rest
But though not successful, if Happy you are
Then you are an achiever, you are the very best

I was three years out of high school and finally getting
the chance to grow up. I’d been ready since before
graduation day. Everybody in the world was certain
that I would fail. I couldn’t succeed. Thanks for the vote
of confidence. I am proving them wrong. I’m succeeding,
maybe not thriving, but succeeding right before their very eyes.

Success is living on my own. Being able to do every household
chore on my own. Success is getting myself to and from where
I need to be in my broken down, beat up wheelchair. Success
is budgeting my money each month. Success is not getting killed
and ***** on my walk home from work in the dark. Success is
living up to their standards and way of life. Success is faking a smile.

I’ve learned more about life in the last eight months than ever before.
I’ve made mistakes, just like they said I would. What they didn’t count
on was me learning from those mistakes and picking up the pieces.
They told me I wouldn’t last more than a month, six weeks at the most.
I would ***** up, fail miserably, get hurt and hospitalized. Thank you
for the boost of self-esteem. It’s made me tougher than steel.

I may not be the perfect student, skinny blonde *****, award winning
page designer or most eloquent writer. I may not speak Spanish fluently,
have loads of extra cash lying around or a motorized, state of the art
wheelchair. Stop telling me what I need. I don’t need or want any of them.

Success is living how I want to live. Success is a productive day when I want
nothing but hot tea and soft music. Success is having the confidence to ask
for help when I’ve been told I shouldn’t. Success is making friends who can
read through my masquerade. Success is facing the consequences. Success is
found through red ink marks and piles of papers. Success is not letting those
who don’t believe in me get the best of me. Success is sunshine on a cloudy day

        See that this program is designed to encompass most aspects of students lives, this means that you’re the most important variable in this equation; without you, the student, there is no SUCCESS. Treat your teachers with respect and you can expect that they’ll do everything within their ability to help you in anyway they can, whether it be with your school work and path to success, or just simply having a friend to confide in. Everything you need to be successful is within your reach here.
        Understand whatever your past or current circumstances, there is nothing holding you back from doing what you want with your life. Bad experiences may or may not have come your way, you’ve probably made some mistakes, just know that these things don’t have to impact your life in a negative manner or inhibit your success. You are the past, present, and most importantly, the future. The goal here is to see to it that you do something amazing with that future.
         Care about being a part of SUCCESS and how others perceive you as a SUCCESS student. When you leave this building and venture out into the world, you are a representation of the program. Your actions directly reflect not only yourself, but the people that make this mission possible. Show them that you appreciate the privilege of being a part of such a worthy cause. Be proud to be in SUCCESS.
         Courtesy is a must; confrontation is a bust. If you have a confrontation with one of your peers or a faculty member, be courteous and solve it without a physical or verbal altercation. There has never been a fight within these walls, so we would greatly appreciate that it remains that way. It’s simple, treat others the way you want to be treated.
         Empathize with your classmates and understand that some of them may be having problems at home or school. Take it upon yourself to see if you can possibly help in any way. Be that person that could make a difference in someone’s life by simply being kind. You’ll always be a stranger until you introduce yourself.
           Service is a significant part of being in SUCCESS. This is a way for you to give back to your community, practice selflessness as well as work to benefit children that need your help. Be a role model to these kids, instill in them the realization of the importance of education. Don’t ever let them settle for less than they’re worth, everyone has something special they can bring to the table, some people just need a little positive encouragement to unveil it.
         Seniors, lead the way. Set the bar, as well as an example for the underclassmen. You foster more of an impact than you could ever imagine. If you’re reading this, the best advice I can give is to make the most of the time you have left; leave behind a legacy that you’ll be proud of in the future and one in which others will strive to follow. Take what you’ve learned from the SUCCESS experience and apply it. You will always remember being a part of SUCCESS.

Once you participate in a race, if not anything else, you know one thing for sure.
Your own calibre.
It's then you realize and understand you need to make an active participation in every race from here onwards.

Your first experience teaches you a lot, since what follows later is an active participation from your side.

Over a period of time everything of which you are part starts changing
Now it's time to look for a better future
Always keep in mind that a secured future cannot be achieved if efforts are not been made
An uncertain future not only remains uncertain, but also keeps the present on hold.

What is thought upon is not the aim, but also the efforts that need to be made.
Always keep in mind take one step at a time while climbing the ladder, then it does not matter how long the ladder is.
The only thing that matters and also will make a difference is when you fall off the ladder.
At that point in time you will have to decide for yourself whether you want to climb again.

It’s not a mistake or an error, something which is done intentionally when you fall off the ladder, since mistakes happen.
Better learn from those mistakes and keep going
A moment in time will come when you will realize and understand how everything started
That will be the great moment in time, since that moment will be important
Till then keep going.

It’s success that everyone wants, but there is a price for everything, which you pay, including the success that you want.
Success comes at a price.

Better understand the outside world carefully and then act according to your own experience.
Once a step it taken, there is no point in looking back
Agreed it’s now or never, but only for those who know what they have been through in the past.

Once decided upon something, stick to the same
Understand and realize one thing for sure, time and tide waits for no one
Always be truthful and honest to yourself, even when you are making all the efforts.
Efforts never go wasted when the right direction is sought.

Compromise and negotiation is part of the game
What’s important to remember is mending your ways for short terms gains, something which remains unacceptable.

Act wisely, but be sure that there is no shortcut to success.

So it’s the passion and desire in you, inside you
The willingness to take the risk and go out for something of which you are absolutely sure.

The never give up attitude in life will make everything clear in mind
Once decided and everything is set and settled in mind, then from that point onwards proceed towards your aim.

Finally all that matters is success.
So don’t waste a single moment in time of your life and act according to what you have planned.
Definitely a moment in time will come when you will gain success and then the world will be at your feet.
Till that point in time comes keep going.

We all think success is where you go,
Or, perhaps, success is who you know.

(unfortunately), doesn't grow on trees.

It was the success
Which I always ran after
spending days fetching it
In life's each chapter

I hiked the highest mountains
Dived the deepest seas
I fished the fluffiest cloud
But success was nowhere to be seen

I entered the darkest den
Climbed the highest tree
Drank the reddest blood
But success always
Ditched me!

Success was like the horse in the field
Running fast and free
failure was what I only got
When I wished taming,
The horse in the field

It was very late
When I found success
was all along in my pocket
Sitting right besides me

Success was in the journey
I took to climb the heights
It sat besides the road
Watching me days and nights

Success was not the horse
But the field it ran in
Success always held my hands
Like a silent, desired kin!

Time and again,
every time the same thing has always emerged out,
the same thing remaining true.

Time and again it has been proved that nothing succeeds like success
Success has many fathers, failure is an orphan.
The same thing been universal and also true.

As of now in the present,
experiencing the joy of the present moment in time when everything has fallen in it’s proper place.

Life seems to have changed, since everything in the present seems to have taken the desired shape.
What was thought, the same thing has happened
As if it seems something like the same.

The outside world now looks different,
much more different is the way in which the outside world now looks upon in this presnet moment.
As of now definitely everything seems to have changed, for sure.

Continual efforts made since past with proper steps taken
Corrections as and when, whenever required they were made.
When in doubt the  right direction was sought,
everything checked,
verified and confirmed to make sure that there is no room left for any doubt.

Errors made before were checked at the back of mind,
checked so as to make sure that nothing similar happens again.

Nothing was left to fate,
absolutely nothing,
nothing unattended,
absolutely nothing.

No stone was left unturned
Obstacles that came along the way were handled,
then came the stupefied moment when it was realized, understood, confirmed, checked and verified as to whether or not success was gained.

Definitely success was achieved at that point in time.

Since everything has been worked out and everything in it's place,
expectations are met and everything seems to be prefectly alright.

Now is the moment in time to enjoy the fruits of all the efforts that were made since prior.

The world is a fast changing place
For the time being everything seems to be working fine,
then the very next moment in time the mind changes.

For the time being it seems like nothing succeeds like success
The next moment there is a change of mind
Anxiety and curiosity been a part of the routine habit come into action and play there respective roles.

Now at the back of mind it seems like time is running out,
hence it seems better to ascertain the future,
even when it is very well known that future remains uncertain and cannot be secured.

While ascertaining the future many things, which belong to present are kept on hold,
even then the future cannot be certain and secure and even then the process of ascertaining future in the present will not take a pause.

When it comes to ascertaining the future there is always a search for possibilities like what is possible and what’s impossible.
To look beyond the present and move ahead towards the future so as to explore more and more new and different things.
To search for things missed out in the past and seek for the right direction
To look for new and different things, something which is apart from the normal routine.
Now is the moment in time to discover new horizon
It's not only success which remains in the mind,
an uncertain future remains of concern, which is beyond success.
