i'm starting
to forget
the feeling of you stroking my hair
the way your hand intertwined with mine
the sound of your voice
the way you laugh
the passionate, deep and profound feeling of loving you

i'm starting
to forget
how to love you
what if i never learn how to love again?
Quietly watching the small flame
Flicking back and forth frantically
With the slightest breath

The wax is dripping
Pooling down below

Soon the light will run out
The wick will burn
And the wax will melt away

If the candle is gone, child
What now shall light your path?
one-word prompt
I'll take your darkness,
I'll take your pain.
Replace it with love,
not hiding any shame.
I'll trust you with my heart,
put my life in your hands.
And one day we'll be more,
than just great friends.
But I have no patience,
so this has to end.
I can't even speak to you,
because every single time;
I forget what we are,
and just want you to be mine.

My soulmate

Under this big old tree.
We lay together so silently.
Hear the wind softly
through leaves.
Your hands sliding
through my hair.
Your love keeps me warm.
To much I can bear.
A kiss on my forehead.
My heart feels so alive
when I'm with you.
My soulmate with
a beautiful sound.
We lay here under
this big old tree
on solid ground.

Over and over like an endless love story we are pulled back together.
No matter where we go,
No matter all we've done,
You are the fibres of my existence-- and I will always come back to you.
There you are
I'm sorry
I gave up on you
I forgot what you felt like
Filling the emptiness I had come to believe
Was all that existed
