In these lines I read you as lullaby
In these pages I wrote you in hindsight
In these details I exorcised evil lies
In these anthologies, this is where I hide
You're a better poet than me
You may never know
Hello Poetry.

Three letters you sent me
Paged my sorrow on the floor
"I love you,
but I don't want this anymore"
You don't want me anymore
"I love you"
I told you so,
I told you so...
You don't tell me things, you.
I'm an open book.
I tell you everything,
every ****,
embarrassing thing.

Even spoiled the end of our relationship.
I wished you were more open to me.
But I'm the one with problems.
I'm the one who needs comfort.
I'm the one who needs.
I want to be needed too.
I want to be the air that you breathe.

Half-weight from battlefields frontline
defending your honor like it's my homeland;
And you say that I never fight...every single time
that I am everything, everything...but gallant

Diary of Jane
You were ordinary,
Flawed, & imperfect.
I loved you,
Made a god out of you,
That was my sin,
And this grief
Is my penance.
