of humanity pain and
suffering a tool

So careful you walk
Up above the white clouds
Dance on your tightrope

Your wings
So beautiful
So elegant

Swift you fly
Up above heaven filled sky
Along with winds we hear

Do you ever
Miss the ground
Or the ones who walk it?

So much to say, which means so little;
So little to say, what that means much.
These ends we face, often,
Come on fast and taper out just as such.
What that remains: naught but thought.
Loose and multiplicitous as strands,
Hair of the artist's brush,
Colors as the richest palette -
Bold & bright, deep & dark

I watched sunsets with you,
But, never us seeing sunrises together.

simple conversations
that we can't keep straight
always bouncing off our ideas
suddenly you mention a future
spent together,

I can't wait

Take this pain, as a token
To trust the heart, is to be broken
The mind alone, sets you in motion
