This life's a battleground,
We're all warriors here.
Fake smile is our shield in this,
And we're battling through our invisible tear' (tears).

Fighting to conquer the kingdom named 'success,'
And the failure is our only fear.
Even after identifying the target of attack,
Our goal seems to be hazy and unclear.

Resisting against unknown adversaries,
Struggling every single day to survive.
"One day, that kingdom will be ours,"
Only this hope keeps us alive.

With a tired body and countless scars,
We prepare again to endure all the strife (strives).
We back ourselves up again to fight the next...
Perhaps this is what we call life..!
Accept or not, but we're all battling here each day... 🙂

In the battleground...
He battles to win a bread,
For his loving child'...!
Battleground refers to the struggles of life...
Odd Odyssey Poet Apr 2021
The long fights,
Worth in winning the small battles
The long nights,
Shine together through the lonely shadows.

Life's battleground
where you stand,
Upon each battle we've won,
come out of them smiling glad.

Remember, you're not the only one.

Though this life is scary
  with demons and ghosts about
The true horror lies inside
with your mind turning inside out
You cannot run or hide
  your thoughts follow you around
And if you try and end it
  Hell will be your battleground

My body
Was the battleground
Of hand-me-down emotions

please
do not
make comments
like “I’m going to stuff my face”
this is a trigger

please
do not
mention how fattening the food is
believe me I know
I am a calculator
nothing goes in
without me counting the calories
this is a trigger

this dinner table
is a battleground
i am fighting myself

please
do not
tell me
“its the holidays,
you deserve it”
it is not that simple and
this is a trigger

please
do not
make me a spectacle
If I could eat
whatever you are eating
believe me
I would.
this is a trigger

this dinner table
is a battleground
but I
will beat
my disordered thoughts
I love you, and stay safe around the holidays.
