Serendipity Sep 2013
I once knew serenity
where I lived for infinity
a place of my youth
where there was nothing but truth
no lies or deceit
where there was nothing I wouldn't try and defeat
an unbreakable young mind
who saw happiness in everything he could find
but innocence started to fade
things weren't just lime and lemonade
chemical changes taken place underneath
ulterior motives hidden behind a metal sheath
whilst lost the baby teeth
took pleasure in power
and not just the pretty flower
unable to grasp that time began to move too fast
yearn for the past
emotions appeared that no one wants to last
anger jealousy hurt and depression
all which taught a life long lesson
that nothing remains the same
and for that there's no one to blame
cause the world doesn't give a ****
I know that's pessimism but expect for the worst
as then at least your bubble of life wont burst.
Serendipity Apr 2013
Losing my sanity in a place that's no longer reality
A place of all profanity
Endless waves of struggle
For nothing more than a quick kiss,
Recreational use of poisons
Or medicine to achieve fake bliss
The unstoppable pendulum
Ever moving forward and back
The useless tests and useless fact
To see wrinkles form
And loved ones leave here disabled,
Unable to comfort
The loss of ones inner soul
That safe place which you once knew
The arms of someone that knew you
The ultimate penalty and pain
The regret and the shame,
You thought you knew what it all meant
But then everything is now backward and bent
Motionless, the stillness a melancholic confirmation
Your harness is gone
And now your spiralling,
Above and beyond.
Serendipity Apr 2013
Dissatisfaction an empty abyss
Deep in now a well known limb
Hope severed, intangible, a ghost
Screaming without a sound
Bleeding without a wound
And these strings fatuously tuned.
Inebriate and stumbling through
an ocean of nobodies, all together, unseen
Without a purpose, an insect
Abiding another nobodies law,
Rebellion restricted by a Metropolitan claw
Steel bars in my own conscience
Dreaming the escape, yet alone
Soaring through time
Captivation doesn't last
A welcome blessing and an unintentional curse, yet alone
and innocence is now grown
