I dreamt of her last night
A soul whose wisdom held high esteem
She shone like a diamond
And rose like the sun
And now she has infiltrated my dream
I hope her presence will find me
Because her warmth was like the glow of a fire
Through the way she laughed
And the way she guided
Her energy couldn’t be any higher
I watch with sheer anticipation
In the hope that I will feel her near
Through feelings of cold
Or shadows in the night
In the hope that one day her smile will reappear
