Dec 2015
i'm on a mad rush
to see each one gush
that lovely smile
not one but many
in each new mile
lest i procrastinate
and find one sad day
that people have forgotten
how to smile and be happy
that they have become too civilized
let me capture the sun in their eyes
and savour the deep spontaneous laughs
by people with authentic feelings
quite unlike the plastic brigade
nurtured on too much television
