" so you don't love him anymore, all the feelings faded ? "

No l looked at him and realised they  changed

" Why you smiling "

Because it felt more peaceful than sad
Feelings don't fade they change
Thou art my coolest friend
Always, do you follow the trends
Though you live abroad
With you, never do I feel bored
Always, do you enliven my day
And even help keep my stress at bay!

Thou art my coolest friend
A conversation with you, has almost no end
Patient are you, to a fault
Under pressure, very rarely do you wilt
Never can I imagine you angry
Even when exceptionally hungry!!

Thou art my coolest friend
In you, is there nothing bland
I totally love your photos and reels
They're so good that they nearly feel unreal
A class apart, is your cooking
I could go on eating!!

Thou art my coolest friend
Really, are you a godsend
Because you are sweet as caramel
For you, could I even sing a Christmas carol
Truly, are you such an angel
That, never can you even be touched by the Devil!!

Thou art my coolest friend
Any help, if you need
All you have to do, is to ask
I'll get done the task
Even if I have to die doing it
Just kidding, of course
However, without you, my life just feels false!!

Thou art my coolest friend
When put through the grind
Almost always, do you thrive
Not to mention, are you quite brave
As well as exceptionally smart
Never do you fall apart!!

Thou art my coolest friend
I am yours to command
Because, always is your love and support unconditional
And with you, never can life be dull
I will be with you through thick and thin
After all, you are as good as my kith and kin
So, keep rocking and keep inspiring
May God shower you with a multitude of blessings
And may your life be filled with love, happiness, peace and prosperity!!

Take heed, the earth is unforgiving
and can be as potent, subtle,
as poison.
Each gift it has given, rejoice,
for it is unafraid
to take back what it rightfully owns.
Man may say that it controls
the Earth, its resources–
torrents–monumental, crashing–
beg to differ.
We offer our condolences
to an already deafened sky.
Promises to “do better next time.”
Our earth, the stern father
that it is, does not waver.
Instead, slick, clean window panes are beaten
by a downpour, and
asphalt with the thirst of its cracks
quenched are all that we receive.
Field upon field with more moisture
than it can bear.
Who were we not to revere this land,
we who apologize as beauty betrays.

where should i show this love that belongs to you
its no one else's but yours
but u don't want it
and i cant take it back

Why I would ever
Knowing it would only
Prove a disaster, & cause only pain.
No sparks to be rekindled,
Only fumes remain of suffocated flames;
As alcohol on water
When all fuel has been spent -
Lamenting the sea

I miss thee very much
Whenever I hit a rough patch
You were there, with your words of encouragement
Your demeanor was always pleasant
My sweetest colleague ever
None, did you hurt ever!

I miss thee very much
You were the torch
Which guided me through the darkness
Never were you crass
Such a delight were you, to be around
My cute friend!!

I miss thee very much
And I want to say, thanks a bunch
For coming into my life
And giving me an extra reason to live
I hope we soon meet again
May your present and future be filled with lots of gains
God bless you, my dear friend
Lots of love, happiness, success, peace and prosperity; may you find!!
Poem dedicated to Urvashi, a good friend and ex-colleague of mine.

She's chasing 3,809 miles
to somewhere new,
a ribbon of road
unfurling beneath tomorrow’s sky.

Your presence next to ours,
comforting and familiar
on this last shared journey,
yet even in this proximity,
there's a widening gap.

I’m trying to understand
how the sense of distance sharpens
just when paths are about to diverge—
a paradox of closeness and impending separation.

At dawn,
you were close enough to share a pulse,
but as the day stretches its shadows,
your dreams sketch paths we cannot follow.

I find no softness
in the stark truth
that soon you won’t be here,
but there’s pride in our lungs
and a fierce resolve
to hold tight to these fleeting seconds
until you chase your next horizon—

We part not as travelers sharing a road,
but as souls woven from countless shared smiles,
the tears we dared to let fall,
and a promise—
not a final farewell,
but a promise of tales tangled again
in some yet unwritten chapter.

She’s sprinting across 3,809 miles
to craft a new home in uncharted blues,
a ribbon of road spinning out like a promise
beneath a sky holding tomorrow’s breath.

Your silhouette molds into ours,
familiar like the rhythm of a well-loved song
on this last voyage shared between heartbeats,
yet even in this closeness, there’s a silence growing louder.

I’m grappling with this—
how distance sharpens its teeth
as soon as paths decide to kiss and diverge,
a cruel riddle of nearness and the looming farewell.

At dawn,
you were close enough to share a pulse,
but as the day stretches its shadows,
your dreams sketch paths I cannot follow.

I find no softness
in the stark truth
that soon you won’t be here,
but there’s pride in my lungs
and a fierce resolve
to hold tight to these fleeting seconds
until you chase your next horizon—

We part not as travelers sharing a road,
but as souls woven from countless shared smiles,
the tears we dared to let fall,
and a promise—
not a final farewell,
but a promise of tales tangled again
in some yet unwritten chapter.

Across those vast miles,
my friend,
the stargazer,
the moonchild,
may you find the calm and joy
you seek,
stepping boldly,
adorned with the quiet grace
that has always been your truest cloak.

If weakness is unveiled

Would a foe be a friend?

If your skin read like braille

Could that friend be a lover?
